Skamania County Department of Public Works has a free tire disposal day on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 8:00am to 5:00pm for Skamania County residents only. Disposing of old tires helps with mosquito control. One tire can produce hundreds of mosquitos, tires hold warmth from the sun, which helps to advance eggs and pupae quickly. We encourge all residents to take advance of this free tire disposal day.
